She had been an ambitious and very successful jumping horsewoman who won numerous Grand Prix and nation prizes for Great Britain and since 1986 for Switzerland. Over a period of 12 years (1989 – 2001) she had been the number one of the Amazones worldwide ranking and she is still one of the best riders in the world. With her team she won the silver medal in Sydney in 2000 and three times the gold medal in the European Championship.
